Concord Home Damaged In Fire

CONCORD, N.C. – A fire damaged a single-story home in Concord off Palmer Avenue Southwest on Wednesday afternoon, according to the Concord Fire Department.

At approximately 12:03 p.m. on Wednesday, November 29th, firefighters responded to a house at 721 Palmer Avenue SW after receiving a call about a reported fire.

The Concord Fire Department arrived at the home in under two minutes. Over 30 firefighters contained the fire in under 12 minutes.

No injuries were reported in the fire. The American Red Cross is helping the displaced family, authorities say.

The cause of the fire is unclear at this time and remains under investigation.
