Lakefront Cornelius Home Sold, Dozens Of Family’s ‘Prized Possessions’ Up For Auction

CORNELIUS, N.C. — A multi-million dollar luxury home in Cornelius was recently sold, now the owners of the property are selling their most prized possessions to the highest bidder at an upcoming auction.

The Moore Family owns the mansion located on Connor Quay Court in Cornelius.  It’s the site of where the popular movie, Talladega Nights was filmed more than 17 years ago.  Shane Parker, founder of Wyatt and Son Auctions is in charge of auctioning off dozens of the family’s unique possessions.   Some of the items include an Italian Chess Set, many historical documents, a Wurlitzer Jukebox,  and an oil painting of Golf Legend, Tiger Woods.

The house was sold to racing superstar Kevin Harvick for 6.7 million dollars.
