CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Police have charged an 18-year-old suspect in Greenville, South Carolina in connection to a homicide at a southeast Charlotte apartment complex last month.
Police identified and arrested Tyvon Dunlap on Tuesday, December 12th. Following an interview with Dunlap in Greenville, detectives charged him with murder and robbery with a dangerous weapon.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is investigating a homicide at a southeast Charlotte apartment complex that left a 25-year-old man dead Thursday night, according to a news release.
Shortly after 11:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 16th, police responded to the Villa Court Apartments off North Wendover Road after receiving a call about an assault with a deadly weapon resulting in an injury.
When officers arrived, they located a male victim, Kadeem Cole Lamont, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Medical personnel pronounced him dead at the scene.
No arrests have been made. Information on the suspect has not been released yet.
