CHARLOTTE N.C. – Word On The Street is that Panthers owner David Tepper could ask for a public investment in Bank of America Stadium, meaning taxpayers would shoulder the cost to the tune of about $600 million. If they decline, he could threaten to take his team and talents elsewhere.
