LINCOLN COUNTY, N.C. – A woman died in a car crash on Sunday, December 17th.
Troopers responded to a crash on Bill Ledford Road near Cat Square Road. It was reported that a Ford Fusion was traveling east on Bill Ledford Road, crossed the centerline, drove off the road and struck a ditch.
The driver of the Ford was identified as 35-year-old Brook White. White succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. Troopers say she was not restrained by a seatbelt.
Further investigation revealed speed nor impairment as contributing factor in the collision.
