Two Statesville Men Charged For Breaking And Entering, Larceny
STATESVILLE, N.C. – The Iredell County Sheriff’s Office have arrested and charged two men from Statesville with breaking and entering and larceny, totaling over $11,000 in stolen property.
Christopher Cole Jarvis, 27, was arrested on Wednesday, December 13th. Police arrested Travis David Reed, 26, on Sunday, December 17th.
Both Jarvis and Reed were charged with three felony counts of breaking and entering, three felony counts of larceny after breaking and entering, and one count of conspiracy to commit felony larceny. Reed received an additional felony charge for obtaining property by false pretense.
Police responded to a breaking and entering call on Friday, December 8th at a residence on Deer Creek Trail in Statesville.
The homeowner of the residence told police that the several items – appliances, tools, personal items – were stolen from inside the residence while it was under renovation. Police say the total value of items stolen was over $11,000.
Police obtained video surveillance footage that spotted a gray Nissan truck occupied by the two suspects.
Detectives recovered approximately $8,913 worth of the stolen property and returned it to the homeowner.
Jarvis didn’t receive a bond, as he was already out on bond from previously pending charges. Reed was issued a $12,000 secured bond.
