Two Victims Shot, Killed In North Charlotte Shooting
CHARLOTTE, N.C. β The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is investigating a shooting in north Charlotte that left two people dead on Wednesday morning.
Initial reports stated that the two victims suffered life-threatening injuries and were transported to a local hospital.
Officers responded to an assault with a deadly weapon call on Merlane Drive near West Sugar Creek Road. The incident occurred on Wednesday, December 27th at approximately 9:30 a.m.
Upon arrival, police say they discovered two victims suffering from gunshot wounds. MEDIC transported the victims to the hospital where they were pronounced dead.
Police continue to investigate this shooting.
