SIX MILE, S.C. β One person died and three others were sent to a hospital following a two-vehicle car accident in Pickens County Friday night.
The crash occurred on Main Street near Spur Road around 5:42 p.m. on Friday, December 29th.
Police say a 1979 Jeep was traveling south on Main Street. The driver allegedly struck a 1979 Volkswagen sedan that was stopped on Main Street to attempt to make a left turn onto a private driveway.
The Jeep driver died as a result of their injuries. There were three additional passengers in the vehicle, and all three were taken to a hospital by medical personnel.
The Volkswagen driver was the sole occupant of their vehicle and was not injured.
