Another Round Of Heavy Rain Possible On Friday

flash flooding will be very possible on Friday

Watching Friday For More Heavy Rain

A peaceful night ahead but Friday will be another one to watch.

After today’s round of severe weather, we’ll want to keep a close eye on Friday.

A much quieter night ahead now that the front is passing by and clean up continues.  It will be breezy overnight, but not the way it was during the afternoon storms.  Dry weather will fill in behind this system very quickly tonight.

The next system will be here by Friday and also produce abundant moisture. Unfortunately, the setup for the final day of the workweek looks awfully similar to the one we had today short of the severe aspect of it. We could be in line for an additional 1″+ of rain and gusty winds to 39 mph.  Behind Friday’s system comes another sunny and chilly holiday weekend.

Tuesday Night: Clearing out. Low: 35°. Wind: SW 5-10.

Wednesday: Sunny and brisk. Mountain snow. High: 49°. Wind: SW 5-10.

Wednesday Night: Mostly clear. Chilly. Low: 33°. Wind: W 5-10.

Thursday: Sunny and pleasant. High: 56°. Wind: NW 5-15. Gusts: 20+
