GREENVILLE, S.C. – Two people are dead and another was sent to the hospital following a head-on accident involving a wrong-way driver on Interstate 385 overnight.
The crash occurred on I-385 south near mile marker 31 at approximately 3:14 a.m. on Sunday, January 14th.
Police say a 2022 Ford Bronco was allegedly traveling north on I-385 in the southbound lanes. The driver struck a 2001 Honda Accord head-on. The driver and the passenger of the Honda vehicle died as a result of the crash.
The Ford driver sustained injuries and was transported by EMS to a hospital in Greenville.
