CONCORD, N.C. — Officials say Concord Middle School staff member, Kendall Bost, was killed in a crash that happened over the weekend. Bost was a teacher and coach at the school.

Cabarrus County Schools says their crisis counseling teams are available for students and staff.
Bost was killed in a traffic accident on Saturday in Concord. Police were dispatched to a single car accident on Harris Street. Investigators say Bost’s vehicle crashed into a tree. He was pronounced dead on the scene. No other passengers were in the vehicle at the time of the accident, according to police. The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
