CHARLOTTE, N.C – Caldwell county has been exposed to dingy water due to a struck valve from the City of Lenoir.
Due to freezing conditions, City Of Lenoir struck a valve, according to a news release.
During the process to free the valve, scaling in the line was released causing brown water in the Baton/Cajah’s Mountain community. The water has spread to Lenior and portions of Caldwell County Including Sawmills. Baton water, Lenoir Utilities, and Caldwell County Water are actively flushing line to clear the problem.
