Rain/Storms Tonight – Cool Sunday

This weekend features multiple seasons. Spring will last through the night and Sunday will look and feel like winter for the mountains.

We are waiting for a cold front to move across the Carolinas. Until that happens, we could pick up more heavy rain and that could lead to localized flooding. Strong storms are even a possibility through about 3am.

We will dry out on Sunday. The rain will move out and the mugginess will also move on. Highs will be in the upper 50s early in the day and it will cool down late in the afternoon as the breeze picks up.

The mountains will look at falling temperatures and snow showers for the afternoon and evening. Some places could pick up 1-3″ of snow.
