Crest High School Student Saves Another From Choking

SHELBY, N.C. –  A student at Crest High School saved another student from choking Friday.

Eli Black noticed fellow classmate, Cason Freeman, gasping for air. During this critical moment, Eli quickly jumped into action and perfomred a lifesaving maneuver, helping Carson free his airway and likely saving him from further harm.

It’s a testament to his kind-heartedness, courage, and decisive know-how that exemplifies what it means to be a Crest Charger.”
