There Is A cool Down Coming But You Don’t Need To Shovel It
Minimal rain chances this weekend - so get out and enjoy
A backdoor cold front slides through the Carolinas from the north later today, which will cool us down this weekend, but rain chances remain few and far between for at least the next three afternoons. Expect temperatures to settle closer to average in the 40s and 50s on Saturday and Sunday across our area.
More clouds build in by the second half of the weekend as a rainmaking system approaches from the southwest. However, the vast majority of the moisture will stay well south of the WCCB Charlotte viewing area. A few stray showers are possible south of I-85 overnight Sunday into Monday, but most locations will stay dry. Cooler air will briefly pool into the Carolinas on Monday and Tuesday, but we won’t see any abnormally cold conditions to kick off the workweek. The remainder of the week ahead looks sunny, dry, and warm.
