CHARLOTTE, N.C. – One person died as a result of a fire in southwest Charlotte on Saturday morning.
The victim was originally reported trapped but was later pronounced dead, according to MEDIC. Another person is being treated due to the fire.
The structure fire happened in the 6800 block of Dixie River Road near Steele Creek. It was first reported around 9:58 a.m.
Charlotte Fire said all units were cleared from the scene around 11:24 a.m.
