Juvenile Charged With Attempted Murder After Stabbing Two People At Chester County Waffle House

CHESTER COUNTY, S.C. – A 17-year-old male has been charged with attempted murder after stabbing two people outside a Waffle House in Chester County on Friday night.

Two juvenile witnesses say the incident started when the juvenile entered the Waffle House on J A Cochran Bypass and started arguing with one of the victims. A brief altercation took place but was broken up by employees, according to the incident report.

The suspect left the restaurant, but the two victims went outside after him. Police obtained security camera footage that shows the two victims going up to the suspect’s car. The three got into a physical altercation and the juvenile stabbed the two victims.

The suspect left the scene in a dark grey Acura sedan. The two witnesses told police the suspect’s name, and police were able to take him into custody at his residence.

The juvenile, who’s name was not released, was charged with attempted murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

One of the victims was airlifted to Atrium Main in Charlotte with life-threatening injuries. Their condition is unclear at this time.

The second victim did not require medical treatment.

CHESTER COUNTY, S.C. – Police have detained a 17-year-old juvenile after two people were stabbed at a Waffle House in Chester County Friday night.

Deputies were dispatched to the Waffle House on J A Cochran Bypass in response to a stabbing. The incident happened just after 10:30 p.m.

Authorities say that two people were stabbed. One was transported to Atrium in Charlotte and remains in critical condition at this time. The other victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

As of now, a 17 year old is being detained by police, but no charges have been filed at this time.

This case is still an active and ongoing investigation by the Chester County Sheriff’s Office.
