CHARLOTTE, N.C. – A juvenile is facing two counts of assault after allegedly assaulting a teacher at Myers Park High School.
The juvenile was identified as a 15-year-old student and was charged with two counts of simple assault.
CMS said the assault happened on Thursday.
“This behavior is disruptive to learning and a violation of the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools Code of Student Conduct,” CMS said in a statement. “The student involved will be disciplined accordingly. The safety of our students and staff remains a top priority.”
