Statesville Man Facing Five Drug-Related Charges
STATESVILLE, N.C. – A Statesville man is facing multiple drug-related charges after police conducted a search warrant at his Iredell County home.
Police conducted a search warrant at 928 Glade Street after receiving numerous complaints about illegal drug activities. After conducting surveillance and making undercover crack cocaine purchases, the search warrant was executed around 7 p.m. on February 6th.
In the search, authorities say they seized a significant amount of illegal drugs, including nearly 30 grams of cocaine, 105 dosages of oxycodone, 11 grams of marijuana, money and drug paraphernalia items.
Police placed 44-year-old Randall Antonio Carr into custody but shortly after, he had a medical emergency. He was treated at a local hospital and was released on February 8th.
Carr is facing the following charges:
- Trafficking in opiates
- Possession with intent to sell, deliver cocaine
- Possession with intent to sell, deliver a schedule II narcotic (oxycodone)
- Maintenance of a dwelling, place for controlled substances
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
Carr is being held at the Iredell County Detention Center without bond.
