Suspect At Large After Car Crashes Into Building In High Country

HIGH COUNTRY, N.C. – High County Police are seeking a suspect after they allegedly crashed into a wall of the Speedway on Saturday, February 10th.

Officers responded to a call on Highway 105 near Boone and found damages to the building following their arrival.

After the crash, the suspect vehicle reportedly drove out the parking lot and turned right onto Highway 105 traveling south.

Police say the driver appeared to be a white male and was driving an older model dark colored truck.
