GASTONIA, N.C. — A GoFundMe account has been set up after the owner of a Chinese restaurant was shot in Gastonia during an armed robbery, according to officials.
Authorities say the owner of China City in Gastonia was shot when two suspects broke into the back of the restaurant at closing time on February 18th. The shooting happened in front of the owner’s children, according to the GoFundMe account.
“They will never see this restaurant the same for a long time & will never forget what happened,” the fundraiser reads.
No arrests have been made at this time. Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call Crime Stoppers.
