Suspect Wanted For Sexually Assaulting 86-Year-Old Woman In North Charlotte
CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Police are searching for a male suspect wanted for allegedly breaking into an 86-year-old woman’s home and sexually assaulting her on Saturday night in north Charlotte.
It happened just after 7:30 p.m. at a home in the 4400 block of Hucks Road near West Sugar Creek Road.
The victim said to police that an unknown suspect broke into her home and physically and sexually assaulted her. She was treated at a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries, according to police.
The suspect left the home before authorities arrived and remains on the loose. Police say he is a black male in his mid-to-late 20’s. He is approximately 5-foot-11 and was last seen wearing a jacket, jeans and a hat.
