NEWTON, N.C. – Over 35 grams of fentanyl and methamphetamine were seized during a search warrant and resulted in three arrests, according to a news release.
The release states that on Monday, February 26 2024, Catawba County Sheriff’s Officer executed a search warrant and confiscated 33.49 grams of fentanyl, 2.1 grams of methamphetamine and $1,815 in cash.
Deputies say that Sara Winters, 26, has been charged with trafficking a schedule II controlled substance, was served with an outstanding order for arrest for felony probation violation and received a $25,000 bond.
Natalie Davis, 37, was served with two outstanding felony probation violations and received a $15,000 bond, as said by the Sheriff’s Office.
The Sheriff’s Office also said that Ryan Elledge, 30, was served with an outstanding federal narcotics indictment and five outstanding orders for arrest, which were for possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and three driving offenses.
All three had their first appearance in Catawba County District Court on February 27 2024.
