Double-Homicide Suspect Found Dead In Kings Mountain

KINGS MOUNTAIN, N.C. – A person of interest wanted in connection to an early morning double-homicide was found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to authorities.

Officials in Cherokee County alerted the Kings Mountain Police Department to help find 49-year-old Sajad Roberts. He was identified as a person of interest related to a double homicide on Wednesday morning.

Police went to a home on Landry Drive where they say they found Roberts dead in his garage from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
