Statesville Man Accused Of Selling Crystal Meth
STATESVILLE, N.C. – A man in Statesville is facing charges after investigators say he was distributing crystal methamphetamine from his home, according to the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office.
William David Lambert, 33, was arrested on Thursday, February 29th after investigators conducted a search warrant at his home.
Authorities received information last month about Lambert selling crystal methamphetamine, which was later confirmed from narcotics investigators conducting surveillance.
Undercover investigators allegedly bought crystal methamphetamine directly from Lambert, which led to authorities obtaining a search warrant.
The search warrant was executed at a home on Damascus Church Road. Police said they seized crystal methamphetamine, marijuana, two semi-automatic pistols, three long guns and ammunition.
Lambert was arrested and charged with the following:
- Felony Intent to Sell or Deliver a Schedule II Controlled Substance
- Felony Maintain a Vehicle or Dwelling for the Sale or Use of a Controlled Substance
- Misdemeanor Possession of Schedule VI Controlled Substance
Lambert was issued a $7,500 secured bond.
