WeatherWise Alert Late Week
Flooding threat picks up Fri/Sat with continued heavy rain
Discussion:
Patchy dense fog to start our Monday morning. Fog will dissipate after sunrise. Highs will reach the low 70s today under partly to mostly cloudy skies. We’ll likely deal with more patchy dense fog tonight as overnight lows only fall into the upper 40s. Highs will reach the low 70s once again Tuesday afternoon. By Tuesday night a disturbance along the coast will bring rain to the region. Rain and storms will become more widespread Wednesday. Localized flooding threat possible for flood prone areas with up to an inch of rain across the region. Another disturbance will swing through the region Friday into Saturday bringing more rain and the potential for strong to severe storms. The biggest threat at this time will be the potential for flash flooding with another 1-2″ of rainfall possible.
