CATAWBA COUNTY, N.C. – Cameron Blair, 23, pled guilty in Catawba County Superior Court on March 5 to first degree kidnapping and indecent liberties with a child.

The conviction derives from an incident that began when Blair started interacting with a teen from Catawba County on a gaming site. This led Blair to travel to the teens home on April 5, 2023 where he was caught by Catawba County Sheriff’s Office deputies who responded to reports of a suspicious vehicle in the teens neighborhood.
Blair has been incarcerated in the Catawba County Detention Facility since the arrest and was sentenced to serve 52-123 months and 16-29 months concurrently.
