GASTONIA, N.C. – A pedestrian is in the hospital with life-threatening injuries after being hit by a vehicle in Gastonia.
It happened at the intersection of East Garrison Boulevard and Union Road.
Police said the pedestrian was struck by a vehicle traveling east on East Garrison Boulevard.
The pedestrian was taken to Caromont Regional Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. The driver remained on scene and was not injured.
