GoFundMe Started For The Families Of Two High School Seniors Killed In A Car Crash

CHARLOTTE, N.C. –  A GoFundMe has been started for two families following the death of two seniors killed in a car crash on March 8th.

Jada Cousins and Kaia Hodge were headed to school when they collided with an 18-wheeler at the intersection of Old Pineville Road and Tyvola Road, killing them both.

Cousins and Hodge were vibrant high school seniors preparing to the walk the stage in June.

Cousins was accepted to institutions such as Spelman, Morgan, Purchase, ECU, Pace, and UAlbany. Excited about her upcoming summer job in DC and planning to enroll at Morgan State University, Jada was on the brink of new adventures.

Hodge, a student ambassador was accepted to many colleges however, she was looking forward to accepting her invitation at East Carolina University in Greenville, NC.

The families are planning to hold a vigil for both girls on March 23rd.
