New Report Released On Alzheimer’s Facts & Figures

CHARLOTTE, N.C.– A new report estimates 6.9 million older Americans are living with Alzheimer’s disease in 2024, an increase of about 200,000 cases of the mind-robbing disease from 2023 and “a significant public health crisis,” according to an expert. Rising’s Joe Duncan sat down with Christine John-Fuller, the VP of Communications for the Alzheimer’s Association of North Carolina about the current numbers, caregivers and future treatments for the disease.
