CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Four people and a cat have been displaced from a west Charlotte home after it caught on fire on Sunday morning.
It happened in the 600 block of Reeves Court in west Charlotte just before 9:30 a.m.
Charlotte Fire said they responded to a home with heavy fire showing upon arrival. Thirty firefighters helped control the blaze in approximately 10 minutes.
The Red Cross is aiding the displaced families. The four occupants are being treated for smoke inhalation.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
