  • Increased Fire Danger
  • Strong Storms Possible Mid-week
Discussion:
Waking up to some patchy morning frost. After a chilly start, temps will warm to near 70 today under sunny skies. Breezy throug theΒ afternoon with winds would of the W to SW 5-15 mph with gusts 20-25 mph possible. Due to a drop in relative humidity levels and the strong breeze, there could be an increased fire danger so outdoor burning is highly discouraged. Saturday will be even warmer with temps reaching the mid 70s. Winds will once again kick up during the day out of the SW 5-15 mph with gusts around 30 mph possible. Sunday will be sunny and warm with temps near 80 for the Easter holiday. Moisture begins to push back into the region by Monday with temps not getting out of the 60s overnight. Highs will reach the low 80s. A cold front will track toward the region Tuesday into Wednesday. With the warmer temps and increased in moisture we could see an increase in instability and subsequent severe threat. It will be something to watch. By Thursday, temps will fall significantly with highs only reaching the low 60s as we begin to dry out.
