CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Actress Angie Harmon took to Instagram to share her heartbreak and outrage after she says a man delivering her groceries for Instacart shot and killed her beagle mix, Oliver.
WCCB’S Emma Mondo spoke with Harmon on Monday. She did not want to say anything about the incident, but did update her followers on social media.
She says the man got out of his car, delivered the food to her South Charlotte home and then shot the dog.
The post also says her ring camera was charging when the shooting happened.
It’s unclear who the man is but according to Harmon’s Instagram account, he used the name “Merle” on Instacart with a profile picture of a woman.
CMPD says no charges are being filed in the case, according to a police report.
Harmon is known for starring in the hit series Rizzoli and Isles and Law and Order.

Harmon says the man did not have a scratch or bite on him nor were his pants torn but CMPD continues to say no charges are being filed in the case.
Instacart released the following statement to WCCB:
“We were deeply saddened and disturbed to hear about this incident. We have no tolerance for violence of any kind, and the shopper account was immediately suspended from our platform. We have been in direct contact with the customer and are cooperating with law enforcement on their investigation.”
