NASCAR Driver Makes Court Appearance After Domestic Violence Charge

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – NASCAR driver Gray Gaulding made a court appearance Thursday morning after being arrested and charged with domestic violence, according to a court documents.

Officers with the Cornelius Police Department arrested Gaulding Tuesday afternoon and released him later that evening. According to Mecklenburg County jail records, Gaulding was charged with misdemeanor domestic violence.

Gaulding made a court appearance around 9 a.m.

The part-time NASCAR driver with the Xfinity Series and Cup Series has been placed on an indefinite suspension, according to NASCAR officials.
