Motorcyclist Killed In Collision On I-20

COLUMBIA, S.C. – A motorcyclist was killed after colliding with another vehicle on Interstate 20 in South Carolina, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.

The collision occurred on Saturday around 3:39 a.m. on I-20 near mile marker 77, approximately two miles east of Columbia, South Carolina.

Officials said a 2010 Honda Element and a 2013 Harley Davidson motorcycle were traveling east on I-20.

The motorcyclist collided with the Honda vehicle and died at the scene as a result of the crash.

The driver and passenger in the Honda vehicle were not injured.

No further details on the crash were released.

This collision remains under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
