CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Two suspects have been charged in connection to the murder of a 36-year-old man in March.
Following an investigation, officers were able to locate and arrest 19-year-old Maiseo Caldwell and 18-year-old Quavon Strother on Saturday, April 6th.
Caldwell and Strother were each charged with the following
- First-Degree Murder
- First-Degree Burglary
- Conspiracy To Commit First-Degree Burglary
- Robbery With A Dangerous Weapon
- Conspiracy To Commit Robbery With A Dangerous Weapon
Both remain in custody of the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Office, officials said.
The victim of this case was identified as Cordarrell Houston on Friday.
The incident happened around 5 a.m. at a residence on Toddville Road on Tuesday, March 26th. Officers responded to the area for an assist medic call, according to a news release.
Medic transported Houston to Atrium Main with life-threatening injuries. He later died at the hospital.
