Eclipse Forecast

Clouds could get in the way in the Carolinas

– Clear and cool tonight
– Milder on Monday
– Clouds may get in the way of the eclipse

A few high, thin clouds have already started to steam in out ahead of the next system. Still, it will be a nice evening and night. Lows will fall to the mid 40s, so frost won’t be an issue.

Monday will be a nice one, as temperatures head back to the mid 70s. The eclipse will be around 80% here in the area, peaking at 3:11pm. While it will be dry, I can’t completely rule out a bit of cloud cover. We’ll hope for the best!

The rest of the week will be more unsettled. Highs will be in the low to mid 70s each day but rain chances return. There’s a 40% chance for showers on Tuesday and Wednesday. The best rain chance with the best chance for strong to severe storms will be on Thursday.

Make it a great week!
