LINCOLNTON, N.C. – Police arrested a 45-year-old man following a year-long investigation into illegal drugs being sold from a Lincolnton business, according to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office.
The illegal drug activity occurred at a business called “Awesome Finds” off NC Highway 27 West in Lincolnton in 2023
Investigators say they started looking into it after receiving complaints about drug activity coming in and out of the establishment.
The sheriff’s office said narcotics officers were able to buy methamphetamine from 45-year-old Keith Dwayne Dellinger at the business. Dellinger allegedly sold the illegal drugs while he was working and after business hours.
Dellinger was arrested at his home in Vale, North Carolina on Tuesday, April 9th. Officials said additional controlled substances were seized from his vehicle.
Dellinger is facing the following charges:
- Sell, Deliver Methamphetamine, 5 counts
- Possession With Intent To Sell, Deliver Methamphetamine, 5 counts
- Maintaining A Dwelling For A Controlled Substance, 3 counts
- Possession Of Methamphetamine
- Drug Paraphernalia
Dellinger was placed in the Harven A. Crouse Detention Center without bond.
