CHARLOTTE, N.C. – One person was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries following a crash on I-485 overnight.
It happened around 1 a.m. on I-485 near mile marker 28 and the Mallard Creek Road exit.
One person suffered life-threatening injuries and was transported to a hospital, according to MEDIC.
Part of I-485 in both directions was closed in the area due to the crash. It cleared up by 3:18 a.m.
No further information was released.
