Original Story (4/16)

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police are investigating two cars that wrecked at the corner of Caldwell and East 7th Street, right across from First Ward Park. It happened around 9:45p Tuesday night.

One car was found up a small grassy bank, with the airbags deployed. The other vehicle was nearby, up on the curb at the intersection. No one was inside the cars. Our news crew on the scene did see a woman approach the vehicle on the curb and remove items from it.

Police put up crime scene tape and were taking photographs of both cars. As soon as we learn more information about what happened, we will let you know.
