CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Westerly Hills Academy will be very busy Friday, April 19, as more than 250 volunteers organized by the United Way of Greater Charlotte build a brand new playground at the school. It’s Volunteer Appreciation Month and 17 companies, including Carolina Complete Health, Lowe’s, Novant Health, and Financial Independence Group will join forces to create a vibrant new playground at Westerly Hills Academy.
This initiative not only beautifies the school but also fosters a sense of community and pride. As part of Volunteer Appreciation Month, CMS celebrates the power of giving back and making a lasting impact. From installing playground equipment to painting benches and murals, every contribution adds to the transformation of this vital educational space.
