Discussion:
Patchy fog across the Western edge of the region this morning. Drier air is moving in and helping to lift some of that fog, so we shouldn’t have too many worries for the morning commute. Clouds will clear through the day giving us sunny skies this afternoon with highs in the mid 60s — a good 10 degrees below average for your earth day forecast. Overnight will be chilly with lows falling into the 30s and 40s. Temps will rebound Tuesday back into the low to mid 70s with high pressure keeping us dry. A cold front will approach the region Tuesday night into Wednesday. Not a whole lot of moisture to work with, but a spotty shower or two can’t be ruled out. Any rain that develops will clear out quickly. This boundary will stall just south of the area. Temps will remain mild with highs in the mid 70s and lows in the low 50s through the end of the week. A disturbance will close in on the area this weekend. We could see that pesky boundary rise north as a warm front leading to a big boost in temps late weekend with highs in the low to mid 80s and a chance for storms Sunday.
