Missing Lincoln County Teen Found Safe

LINCOLNTON, N.C. – Detectives with the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office are seeking the public’s help in finding a runaway teen, according to a news release.

The release states that on April 20, 2024, deputies were notified of a teen, Cadence Lail, that ran away form home. Deputies say Lail told her mother that she was going to play basketball, but left the residence without anyone’s knowledge.

Lail is 14-year-old, has brown hair, brown eyes and is five feet-six inches tall. Deputies also said that Lail is believed to be in possession of a black Niki book-bag and is a student at East Lincoln Middle School.
