Second Arrest Made In Jack In The Box Employee Homicide

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – A 16-year-old juvenile was arrested in Rock Hill in connection to the deadly shooting of a Jack in the Box employee last month.

CMPD obtained a secure custody order for murder for the juvenile suspect on Friday, April 26th.

The juvenile was located in Rock Hill, South Carolina and was arrested. The suspect’s name was not released.

Officials said the 16-year-old is awaiting extradition back to Mecklenburg County.

This is the second arrest made in connection to the death of 17-year-0ld Tate Brannon. Police arrested Marcus Dahn, 28, on March 31st. He is facing multiple charges, including murder, robbery with a dangerous weapon and possession of a firearm by a felon.

Earlier this month on April 10th, Crime Stoppers were searching for a person of interest related to the homicide.

No further details were released.
