Missing 17-Year-Old Sought In Matthews

MATTHEWS, N.C. – The Matthews Police Department are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 17-year-old girl.

Matthews Police reported Candida Rosa Pineda Ruiz missing on Friday, April 26th. She was last seen on March 4th on Deer Creek Drive in Matthews. Officials said she was wearing a blue shirt with stone washed blue jeans.

Ruiz, a Hispanic female, is approximately 5-feet tall and weighs 110 pounds. She has straight black hair and brown eyes.
