LANCASTER, S.C. – A motorcyclist died after colliding with another vehicle in Lancaster County on Saturday night.
This collision occurred on Saturday around 6:34 p.m. on SC Highway 200, three miles south of Lancaster.
Authorities said a 2017 Jeep SUV and a 2023 Kawasaki motorcycle were traveling in opposite directions on SC Highway 200. The motorcyclist attempted to make a turn onto Memorial Park Road when it was struck by the Jeep vehicle.
The motorcyclist, who has not been identified, died on-scene and was later identified as 25-year-old Christian Tyler Lisenby.
There were two occupants – the driver and a seven-year-old child – in the Jeep vehicle, and neither were injured.
This collision is under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
