CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Two people were transported to the hospital following a house fire in east Charlotte on Sunday morning, according to the Charlotte Fire Department.
It happened around 9:30 a.m. on Allister Drive near East W.T. Harris Boulevard.
Charlotte Fire controlled the blaze in approximately 20 minutes.
The two victims were rescued from inside the home. They were transported with non-life-threatening injuries to Novant Presbyterian, Medic said. No other injuries were reported, according to CFD.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
