GASTONIA, N.C. – A fire occurred at Christ Community Church and the cause is currently being investigated by the City of Gastonia Fire Department, according to Pastors Jimmy and Tim.
The pastors say the fire occurred around 10:00 p.m. on May 27 and caused heavy damage in the foyer and cafe area, along with portions of the kids wing sustaining water and smoke damage.
The extent of the damages are unknown at the time and the electricity to the main building has been shut off and nobody is allowed in.
No injuries were sustained.
