CHARLOTTE, N.C. – According to a police, a nine-year-old boy was sexually assaulted by another student on school grounds during school hours at Renaissance West STEAM Academy.
The police report states that the incident occurred on May 28th at the school.
The charges in the case are child sexual assault/sex offense: first or second degree forcible sodomy.
The report also states that the relationship between the victim and the suspect is “outside family.”
