MONROE, N.C. – Monroe Police arrested a man after responding to a peeping incident near Lancaster Avenue, according to a news release.
The release states that police were called to a residence on May 24 at 7:36 a.m. The victim said that she saw a man peeping through her window while exposing himself and ran when she called 911.
That morning, police say they identified him as 31-year-old Kendall Carpenter and arrested and charged him with trespassing, secretly peeping and indecent exposure.
Officers were made aware of similar incidents in the neighborhood and are following up on the gathered information.
